Christian Hoban

17191765_10207993410225862_4593305533349661596_oChristian Hoban (FCRH ’19) is a double major studying Economics and Political Science, and is proud and honored to be the second Secretary-General for FORMUNC! When not participating in Model UN on campus, Christian can be found at WFUV, Fordham’s radio station, yelling on air about sports and covering the New Jersey Devils and New York City FC for the station. Christian also writes about sports for various online publications, plays the baritone saxophone in the Fordham University Pep Band, and enjoys engaging actively with the Fordham and Bronx communities. A proud product of Philadelphia, Christian plans to return to his home city upon graduating to pursue a career in the legal profession (if he gets into law school!), and dedicate his life to public service. He is thrilled to be a part of such a great team to get FORMUNC II running and hopes the delegates enjoy themselves immensely!


Kyle Kilkenny


Kyle J. Kilkenny (FCLC ’19) is a political science major with a double major in Italian at Fordham’s College at Lincoln Center. Born and raised on Long Island, Kyle is proud to return to FORMUNC as this year’s Director-General! A founding member of the Fordham Model United Nations Team at Lincoln Center, Kyle is also active on campus as a Resident Assistant, Peer Minister, and as a Staff Writer for the award-winning publication, The Fordham Observer. Kyle serves as the Vice Present of the Fordham University Choir at Lincoln Center, and enjoys performing in local theatrical productions in his free time. Following graduation, Kyle plans to pursue a career in public service, diplomacy and humanitarian work. Kyle wishes all the delegates an exciting and engaging conference experience full of discourse, education, innovation and resolution!

Laura Rathjen

Laura Rathjen is sophomore in Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business studying finance and international business. She is a part of the Global Business Honors Program which has fostered her interest in international, financial, and political relations. Laura attended Kellenberg Memorial high school on Long Island, where she was born and raised. She was a member of her high school Model United Nations team and continued on to Fordham’s team as well. She is also member of Campus Ministry and Women’s Empowerment. As the Undersecretary General for Crisis committees, Laura hopes to encourage all delegates in their pursuits solving complex and pressing issues. She hopes FORMUNC II proves to be an exciting and educational conference for delegates of all skill levels.

Graham Profile

Graham Stevenson (GSB ’20) is a Finance major with a math minor at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. He is from Boulder, Colorado, and went to Fairview High School.  Graham is the Vice President of Fordham’s Model United Nations team at the Rose Hill campus, and is a member of the United Student Government Sophomore Senate and GSB Dean’s Council. Following graduation, Graham intends to pursue a career in either the tech industry or politics. He enjoys keeping up to date with world events, hiking, skiing, and eating everywhere he can afford. Graham wishes all the delegates an exciting and fun conference!

Claire Nunez

Nunez (FCRH ’19) studies Political Science as well as New Media & Digital Design.  She is a proud New Yorker and is very excited to be on the Secretariat of FORMUNC for the second year in a row.  She is an active digital designer and does freelance work all along the East Coast. In addition to FORMUNC, Claire is a member of the Political Science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, is an esteemed student researcher, and serves as the Editor-at-Large of Fordham’s journal of criticism and review, the paper, and works actively in the Bronx community at local elementary and high schools. She also works on campus to promote social justice awareness with the Dorothy Day Center. Promoting educational justice is her passion.  Claire is an award-winning  writer and her work has been published in American poetry anthologies as well as in essay collections around the States.  Upon graduating Fordham, Claire hopes to serve with the Peace Corps abroad.  When she is not designing websites, writing, or FORMUNCing, she is tending her mini garden, painting, or playing her ukulele.

Brendan Batcheller



Brendan C. Batcheller (GSB’18 RH) is thrilled to return to FORMUNC for a second time around! He is originally from Detroit, Michigan and graduated from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in 2015, but now calls The Bronx home. A senior in the Gabelli School of Business studying Public Accountancy, in the following academic year, he will be pursuing a Masters of Tax while sitting for the CPA exam.  Aside from Model United Nations, Brendan is on the Board for Global Outreach, the President of the Net Impact Undergraduate Chapter, the Treasurer for Fordham Flipside, and the Vice Chair for the United Student Government Budget Committee. Brendan is also involved with the Social Innovation Collaboratory and Beta Alpha Psi.  This past summer, Brendan worked at Consumer Reports as the Accounting and Finance Intern. Next summer, he will be joining PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Core Tax Intern.  Some of Brendan’s interests include traveling, sustainability accounting, The West Wing, hunting bugs, and different types of motorized vehicles.
